But in this story, the princess saves herself and the handsome hero as well! Cleverly worked out, Bolton has told this elegant legend in a way that is interesting for adults as well children. There are also a generous number of richly colored illustrations making the book a delight for the eyes.

It isn't your typical fairy tale. It does have a happy unconventional ending. The illustrations are beautiful. Every page is a masterpiece. Girls should read this to know it is okay to be different. Very well written.
